The MONIGEAR MN-BM battery monitoring system can monitor key parameters such as voltage, internal resistance, negative terminal temperature, and group charging and discharging current of each individual battery online in real time. It enables early diagnosis and warning of the deterioration of individual batteries and provides timely alerts in case of abnormalities in the battery system. The installation topology of the individual battery monitoring module significantly reduces construction and maintenance costs. The MN-BM battery monitoring system provides safe, accurate, and convenient online real-time monitoring of batteries, ensuring the stable operation of the power system.

System composition

  • MONIGEAR battery monitoring system consists of MN-BM battery online monitor and MN-BM-CS single battery sensor.
  • MN-BM battery online monitor: Responsible for centralized signal collection and transmission, with a maximum of 128 CS individual battery sensors connected to each bus, and up to 4 battery groups can be monitored through 4 buses. Equipped with an Ethernet port and RS485 communication port. Support multiple communication protocols to access the center management software.
  • MN-BM-CS single cell battery sensor: The key operating parameters of single battery can be monitored online in real time: voltage, internal resistance and negative column temperature. Communication with MONIGEAR battery monitoring system via dedicated bus. Supports 2V and 12V lead-acid batteries.

Key Features

  • Battery Monitoring:Real-time monitoring of key battery parameters including voltage, internal resistance, negative column temperature and group charge-discharge current, as well as accurate analysis and judgment of battery operating status and SOH health status, realizing early diagnosis and warning of battery deterioration.
  • Anti-interference:Adopts advanced anti-interference technology in the monitoring sensor measurement circuit, which can effectively filter out electromagnetic interference from charging equipment and load circuits in complex environments, ensuring stable and accurate measurement values and the normal operation of the monitoring system.
  • IoT Connectivity:Supports MQTT protocol, specially adapts to mainstream IoT cloud services, adopts TLS security encryption for data transmission to ensure data confidentiality and integrity, and supports simultaneous access to two cloud platforms for redundant backup.
  • Low Power & Safety:Features ultra-low static current (less than 5mA for 12V modules, less than 10mA for 2V modules), 3000Vrms isolation voltage between communication bus and battery poles, overcurrent protection circuits, and hardware self-test function for high safety and reliability.
  • Easy Operation:Equipped with a supporting configuration tool for batch installation and quick configuration, supports online remote upgrade for convenient deployment and maintenance, and is equipped with intuitive LED breathing lights for visual status display and module positioning.
